About Us

High Quality & Professional ENT Surgeons

Dr. Grimes returned to Wayne county with his family in 2017 after having built a large practice in Mansfield, OH. Along with audiologist Lynnette Roth, he has continued to provide the region’s most comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. He provides state-of-the-art surgical and medical care for a multitude of conditions including chronic ear disease, hearing loss, vertigo, sinus disease and allergies, cancer and other masses of the head and neck, and surgical treatments of the thyroid and parathyroid glands.

“Eric’s bedside manner is like none I have seen. He listens to your concerns, is not judgmental and offers solutions rather than shuffling you around on appointment after appointment. I really appreciate his willingness to help and find a solution – Thank you!”

Why Choose Us

Local Care from a Local

Dr. Grimes was raised on a farm in Wayne county, and is the grandson of Dr. Robert Reiheld, a prominent family physician in Orrville. He lives here in Wooster with his family, where his children attend Wooster city schools and his oldest son will attend the College of Wooster this fall. Our office is located in the heart of Wayne county in Wooster at the Milltown Professional Building, next to Healthpoint. He offers his surgical services at Wooster Community Hospital and Aultman Hospital in Orrville. He continues to provide comprehensive specialty surgical care for many conditions allowing patients and families to keep their care local while still receiving state-of-the-art services and treatments.

Our Expertise

The Best in the Field

Treatment for All Ages

Dr. Grimes is trained in the care of both children and adults and is skilled at adjusting care delivery to be appropriate for patient age and ability, whether this is a newborn with a tongue tie, the elderly with dementia, or any age or level of function in between.

In-office Procedures

Many procedures can be performed in-office such as endoscopies, biopsies, ear wax removal, ear tube placement, and other minor procedures. In-office surgical procedures allow for same day treatment, reduced time off work, and reduced cost to patients over hospital based procedures.

Closed Circuit Video-Microscopy

Video-microscopy allows patients to see what the doctor sees, allowing better understanding of findings and treatment plans for areas of the body, such as inside the ear, that the patient may not otherwise be able to see.

Newborn Hearing Testing

We offer state mandated comprehensive hearing testing for infants who fail hospital based hearing screenings using auditory brainstem testing (ABR) and otoacoustic emission (OAE) testing. We report these findings back to the state to complete documentation requirements and assist in management of any identified hearing loss to optimize the child’s development.

State Sponsored Support Services

We are pleased to offer our patients support with state services as providers through the Bureau of Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) and the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR). These are state agencies that assist patients in acquiring necessary treatment and rehabilitation services that insurance may not cover or that they may otherwise find unaffordable.

Hearing Testing

We offer comprehensive hearing testing and rehabilitation including all major hearing aid brands as well as bone anchored hearing aids.
